As a Remedial Massage Therapist and Naturopath with 12 years clinical experience, Jo Herbert is a special member of the Indica Wellness team. As a Massage Therapist Jo provides a nurturing treatment to alleviate aches and pains, emotional stress and assist correcting imbalance and dysfunction in the musculoskeletal system. In a Naturopathic consultation, Jo will spend about an hour initially with clients to evaluate their health and help them resolve health issues and achieve goals. These could be:

increasing energy

weight loss and increasing metabolism

addressing sleep disturbances and insomnia

support treatment of existing health conditions... thyroid, skin problems, female reproductive issues including PMT and menopause, cardiovascular and circulatory conditions, irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis etc

immune deficiency states and allergies

cognitive function

Jo will also look at medical history, relevant family history, presenting symptoms, lifestyle, stress, diet and overall physical and emotional wellbeing. Where appropriate pathology testing and medical investigations may be suggested. Natural Botanical, Homeopathic and Nutritional medicines may be prescribed to promote wellbeing. These are very individualised and can give people great insight into how to care for themselves and gain the healthy bodies and minds we all deserve.
